Continuing Professional Development Act of 2016 (RA 10912) enacted into law

On this day, July 21, 2016, former Pres. BENIGNO "NOYNOY" S. AQUINO III signed into law a bill "AN ACT MANDATING AND STRENGTHENING THE CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR ALL REGULATED PROFESSIONS, CREATING THE CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR, AND FOR OTHER RELATED PURPOSES".  Bearing the short title: "CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 2016", the law mandates mandatory continuing professional development training for all professions regulated by the PROFESSIONAL REGULATION COMMISSION (PRC).​
